SOUTHERN POINT

A LITERATE CANID ROLEPLAY

Greetings from Southern Point, a literate wild canid based roleplay taking place on the east coast of Canada. This area is far from any human interference, allowing the pack to go through the ups and downs of life, and has been called Southern Point for as long as anyone residing nearby can remember. There is no word limit and we are a newly created and accepting community in need of active members. Instead of one huge plot, Southern Point uses a sandbox-style system with many different plots, some of which will involve a big group of canids and become pretty large, and some of which that may only involve five or six canids, or, maybe only a couple. For the most part the action will all be driven by you, the user. We are LGBT friendly, allowing users to create characters with any sexual orientation and any gender identity. Our staff run NPC accounts that make random predator, prey, and weather encounters not only possible but prevalent. Various site-wide plots are planned for the future, and with the feature of a site shop, point system, and a specific board for plotting, you can set your own in motion. Join Southern Point with the name of your character as your username and start a biography and become a part of our community by either adopting plots and characters or creating your own!

NEWS

11.15.15 Various updates are in place. An activity sweep is now in effect, along with a change to our stat system, seen here. A motto contest will be taking entries until the 25th.

10.18.15 Thank you to those who have submitted their staff applications, they have been looked over and chosen two people to add to the staff team. Please welcome Fidelis/Frankie and Va'shad/Kiwi as moderators! A quick reminder that the scavenger hunt is still ongoing and will end on the 31st of October.

9.27.15 Winners of the advertisement banner contest have been chosen, congratulations to Va'shad, winning first, Istas, winning second, and Jay, winning third! The site's skin has been changed.

9.1.15 The site's first ever contest is now running, so don't hesitate to send in an entry! More details can be found here. A map of Southern Point has also been whipped up, which will hopefully be useful and add more realism to roleplay.

WEATHER CONDITIONS

Spring now leaves Southern Point and summer comes in to take it's place. The early months of summer are wet with much rainfall and humidity, temperatures slowly climbing. The midst is rather wet as well, although hotter, while nearing the end it becomes dry and gradually cooler. Season change due 1.3.2016
