PLOT
Doin' it sandbox style
Southern Point has something new in terms of sitewide plots: there are none. There is no big, overarching plot, no end of the pack, no war or conflict between Southern Point and whatever other group. We're of the mindset that the things that go on from day to day in the pack are enough to keep everyone on their toes - with a little help, of course. Therefore, instead of one huge plot, Southern Point uses a sandbox-style system with many different plots, some of which will involve a big group of canids and become pretty large, and some of which that may only involve five or six canids, or, maybe only a couple. Although certain outcomes will be judged based on the policies laid out in our stat system and policies, for the most part the action will all be driven by you, the user. The focus of roleplay at Southern Point is mainly the relationships and situations that may arise out of them between each member's characters. To get the ball rolling in this area, there is a specific board for plotting with other members and developing each other's characters. However, to spice things up every now and again, the staff will create roleplay events that can either effect the whole pack or just a certain group of canids.

SETTING
JUNE, SUMMER || YEAR ONE
Near the coast of northern British Columbia is a prey-rich land going by the name of Southern Point. No one knows who gave it that name, or why, only that it's been called that for as long as any creature can remember. It is a varied landscape, featuring flat, treeless plains, beaches, cliffs, forests, and mountains. Any human activity is virtually nonexistent here, creating the perfect environment for an assortment of creatures... including wolves. From a neighboring area to the east called Valcoast came a small band of wolves previously exiled from their old pack. With a young male known as Dmitri Jankovic to lead them, they wandered through the peaks of the Kerek Range before landing in Southern Point. Taking notice that this prey-rich place had not been claimed by anyone, they decided to make it their home. Thus the Southern Point pack began.
Each season on Southern Point lasts for two months real time, making each year last eight months. By this time, each character will age a year.
